Alicia Pelayo studied at Escuela Tecnica Superior de Arquitectura in Madrid. Her education also included workshop studies and work experience in Turin, Leuven, Istanbul and Weimar. Having graduated with a degree in architecture Alicia moved to London, joining architecture and design practice Orproject where she assisted in the design and delivery of a range of residential projects in Kensington and Chelsea, with her responsibilities also including furniture and interior design work.
In 2015 Alicia was appointed at Arons en Gelauff architects in Amsterdam, working predominantly on the detailed design packages for Shell-Deli, a 125 unit residential scheme in Amsterdam and assisting with the concept design for The Koepel in Haarlem, a major refurbishment scheme to create dwellings within the shell of a 115 year old disused institutional building.
Alicia subsequently returned to the ETSAMadrid to complete a master’s degree in architecture, before joining Doone Silver Kerr in May 2018.Back to People
