Richard Doone trained as an architect at the Bartlett School, University College London.
After qualifying in 1984 he worked with Terence Conran for 25 years, running Conran & Partners, his architecture and design company, as a director from 1993 and Managing Director from 1999.
During his time with Conran & Partners, Richard led some of their highest profile projects including the Design Museum and Great Eastern Hotel in London, Bridgemarket in New York and Roppongi Hills in Tokyo.
He has worked at all scales, from a 40-storey tower to a noodle bar and has wide sector experience including residential, retail, offices, hotels, clubs, spas, museums, exhibitions and airport lounges. He has completed projects in 15 countries.Back to People
