The design approach seeks to build on Wainbridge AP Ltd aspirations to explore a new generation of office buildings that are an evolution of the well-built, adaptable, industrial buildings of the past – offering highly flexible, economic and sustainable space with a good sense of wellbeing for the occupier.
The proposed internal space is column free and exposed thermal mass construction enables high ceilings. The facades are tailored to deal with orientation and sun exposure, providing a distinctive architectural expression which is responsive to the building’s Conservation Area context.
